Training for NVQ's can be provided by North West Sealants and are assessed by the Construction Awards Alliance.
North West Sealants was established in 1967 by Derek Hall who realised that there was a demand for sealant applicators requiring a higher standard that was currently being offered within the joinery trade. Derek was later joined by his brother Collin in 1969 who directed the company through its heights in the 90s employing over 36 sealant applicators at one time until he retired in 2003.
In 2003 Martin Cunliffe & Keith Mossop both sealant applicators who were employees of the company took over as managing directors and have over seen the successful re-growth of the contracts division. This has been based on the fact that there is still a high demand for a better standard of sealant application that is offered within the construction industry today.
This has been a key factor of the company's recent continuing expansion and success.

For all job vacancies at North West Sealants we require that all applicants have taken the basic CSCS health and safety test.
If applicants have not achieved a NVQ level 2 then we will require all applicants to take a 1 year course to attain this qualification.
